I rented this apartment in the fall of 1995. When we showed up to move in the people living there hadn't even packed up, much less moved out. So I was pissed.

Anyway, this guy who lived there was going up to all of us and giving stuff away like clothes, a chair, etc, and he offered me a nice silkscreened Bosstones poster and I said,

"No thanks."

"Oh, you don't like the Bosstones so much?" he asked.

"No," I replied. "I think they suck and I think Ska music sucks."

The guy was Joe Siroit, the drummer for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. I had no idea because it was him until my roommate told me later.

I did take him up on his offer of his Lazy Boy.

Redbones is a good place to drink--downstairs at least. That and Sligo's are the places for me in Davis Square. The only food I miss from Redbone's are the Buffalo Shrimp-barbecue, not so good.
