that'd be me.

It's mostly because of "I Found a Reason" and the 2nd version of "I Love You" with all the awesome tremolo. It's maybe not my fave (I have a real weakness for Live at Max's Kansas City), but yeah, I do love Loaded.

Are some of you young enough that VU does not seem like that brand new, hard to believe it exists one?

1st one, which is also my favorite record in general a lot of the time.

1969 Live is terrific and pretty underrated.

I do love Loaded. I love the four proper studio records, and I love 1969 Live, and I love VU.

The best band.

Mark Hansen wrote:My personal favorite is "The Velvet Underground". Much more introspective than the first two albums, I really love the album start to finish, especially the songs "Candy Says", "What Goes On", "Some Kind Of Love", "Pale Blue Eyes", and "Beginning To See The Light".

We are in agreement yet again, Mark. Salut.

Whoa, sorry, Faiz. I left Max's off by accident, but I couldn't imagine it being anyone's favorite. I always thought it sounded like doody.

Then again, some of your mom's favorite things were heretofore unimaginable to me. Come to think of it, most of 'em involve doody.

Damn, sir, you make a fine point. Alas, I've already voted. What to do?

I dunno, I kinda like her songs on that album. "I'll Be Your Mirror" most especially.

I really like the shitty sound of it. Something cool in the air. I find it incredibly charming, and the complete lack of frills, and the eavesdropping nature of the recording feel great.

I Loaded in your mom's Velvet Underground.

Oh yeah? When I sought purchase in Ma Razi's subcontinent, I muttered, "Jesus, help me find my proper place."

The record does have a sleazy charm to it. I find the tableside Tuinal drug deal to be very funny.
