Now it's raining very lightly.

that's pretty much how it happened for me....except it was a port-o-potty at a Metallica show at Alpine Valley
My last name
is Robinson, but I have been the recipient of exactly zero face-licks, tonsil assualts, boob-paws, panty-mauling crotch grinds, finger bangs, spit swaps, neck gnaws, bra invasions -or- hickeys today.
A dark day, indeed.
Marsup, has that scenario left you with dark fetishes that "normal" women look down upon? Like, a soft spot for Metallica, perhaps?

Anyone in Logan Square today? It looked like a very big bomb went off. Huge wall of gray wind slammed into us from the south. Everything was racing past my window sideways, including tree parts.

Yes!
I looked out one of my windows and saw a black cloud, which looked really good behind a row of graystones, so I grabbed my camera and went outside. Then it started pouring. From not raining to sheets of rain and high winds in under 10 seconds. I ran inside. Then half of a tree fell onto the ground I had been standing on moments before.
God protects fools...

it was pretty wild in river north. the clouds were rolling in slowly and then all of the sudden [wham!] one big gust of wind came and then all hell broke loose...
like somebody else said, it was like being inside of a car wash...really really fucked up.
then the lightning storm came and i had an amazing view of lightning striking the top of the sears tower...
also, no flooding in my basement, so i'm cool.

When I got on the blue line downtown around 6: grey sky, no rain.
When we emerged into what is usually daylight after the Division stop: TOTAL CHAOS. Pitch black, thunder clapping, etc. When the doors opened at Damen a gust of wind blew in and soaked a bunch of middle aged women who loudly chortled and squealed so much so that I could hear it over my ipod.
When I got out at the western stop, I just decided fuck it, I'm going into the green eye for a drink. Place was totally packed with other people waiting out the storm. By the time I finished a beer the rain was died down enough that I could run home without ruining the electronics in my pockets.
For some reason this was all a lot of fun.
