About 4 years ago, I started eating very healthily and worked out like a champ. My genes are bad enough where this is about as much slack as I can allow myself. About 2.5 years ago, I started running and was aiming for a marathon. 2 years ago, I broke my patella twice in as many months. There were surgeries and I just started a new graduate program. I was wiped out. It was all I could do to get up and maneuver myself into position to crap, let alone do some sort of bastardized pushups or whatever with my leg being all fucked. I rehabbed like a champ, but that's hardly running 5 miles a day.

Basically, I was so exhausted I settled for whatever fast food was on hand, and getting back to working out well has yet to come back.

I need to go for about a month of eating nothing but oatmeal, apples, beans, broccoli, and chicken breasts. Maybe get all the bullshit out of the system.

But it's hard as fuck to go to the gym. I used to be able to whip through a fairly difficult workout. Now, it's really discouraging that I wince with every revolution of the elliptical machine. Fuck.

Whoa now, pain killers? I wanna say, take care compadre, yet I break down when the opportunity pops up. I hate having them around and yet, I like them. Weed is a saviour. I need to move to CA as I am depressed. :)

Jesus Christ, that was a good burger.

Was it a one time thing? Have you crossed back over at any point? Did it send you off into a tailspin?

I was taking cocodamol(sp?) last week for a sore back. My tongue went numb.

I remember when I was 13, I told myself I was going to stop masturbating when I turned 14.

I not only fell off that wagon, I died of dysentery.

Oregon Trail represent!

(I used to name my characters after diseases in the hope that they'd die of their namesakes. "Cholera has Typhoid", etc.)
