I'd frame it for you, free as long as you pay for the materials. I worked in frame shops for quite a few years.
Go to one of those big warehouse picture framing shops and see if you can't get yourself a deal on a couple sticks of some nice molding. The next biggest expenditure would be the glass, but that's not too expensive. Avoid non-glare glass. I would back it with some acid-free paper and acid-free foam core and mat it with archival-quality matboard.

A metal frame is also an option if you don't mind that look. I'm pretty sure they sell pre-cut pieces of Nielsen molding 44" in length. Those frames are really easy to put together and they can be plenty strong for a big glazed picture, as long as you tighten the down screws well enough and properly brace them with wire in the back.
Except for joining the frame, he only pain in the ass part about framing is getting the glass really clean and free of of dust before you tape around the edges and fit the picture.

All I managed to get were the postcards. They are displayed prominently on the fridge. What a great fucking weekend that was.

That sounds like a really stressful situation, sitting on a poster like that and dreaming of the day when a cheap framer will be found. I don't know how you deal with the weight of something like that. I mean, it'd be kinda nice to hurl off those shackles and just, you know, start livin'.
$100.
I am only posting because it's funny that this guy and I have the same situation, except I've got both posters rolled up in tubes not just the Ryan one. I need to be less lazy about this whole framing business.
I will start livin' by getting off my ass and making a frame for them.
Jeez, some of you'se certainly has "framing anxiety"...
I just went straight down to the local
Michael's and picked up some semi-disposable 40x30 pre-fab frames... they ain't "archival quality", and I got a bit of space above and below each poster, but at least they're not still sitting rolled up in a tube... it'll do for now (until I move out of this condo situation and into an actual house)
