I found out, just today, that Antony was a recipent of a NYFA Artist's Fellowship some years ago.

Since I am waiting to hear if I am the recipient of one myself, I have to say Not Crap in solidarity.

I really like the "I Am A Bird Now" record. An artist who's sheer fearlesness allows his drag-show cabaret to express a great deal more than limp faggotry. Funny all over the record. Sad, too. "Fistfull of Love" is a mindblowing song. Not Crap.

i just read this thread for the first time and laughed out loud at the following, which could easily be construed as a freudian slip...

I voted not crap as i reckon he/they are not crap and i saw on the poll that crap has the higher percentage.

I can't help but wonder what effect the ever so slightly homophobic tone of many of these posts has had on the polls percentage.

Man, style-wise I shouldn't like this stuff at all - it's melodramatic, weepy, etc. etc., but for some reason it comes together brilliantly.
