The wife and I left the teenager at home to be a teenager and mind all of our animals and we drove the 6 year old and 4 1/2 year old out to the Grand Canyon 2 weeks ago. Took 3 days to get there from NW Indiana. I couldn't be happier at how well the little ones rolled with all that ass time in the car across places like Oklahoma that were as boring as New Mexico and Arizona were interesting.Those of you in or near Albequerque have a real gem in the Natural History Museum, which the kids absolutely loved!

Three year old, pointing to his testicles after the bath - Dad, look at my penis here. It turned into raisins.Also - super proud dad moment, my older son (who is six) spoke at City Hall last night to ask our City Council to to get off their asses and fund our schools adequately.

My son who is now 7.5yrs old just kicked my ass in a short game of Scrabble. His first ever. The first two words he played were heaven and quail.Fuckin' quail.Should I be scared?
