Eric Bachmann (Archers of Loaf) Saw them a few times back in the day but was more concerned with jumping around.On their recent reunion tour I saw them and watched him play. I was pretty blown away.A lot of parts and bits I assumed were Eric Johnson (the other guitarist in the band) was him.

Pete "Guitar" Lewis.21 pages and no Pete?! He played on the first recorded version of Hound Dog, sung by Big Mamma Thornton, in 1952. I am not sure if this one was covered. But Bob Dylan's acoustic playing on his early records at least is pretty great IMHO. Great shuffling rhythm, great tone.
