I'm excited about the new episodes. I'm confused by the reasoning that it's Crap because it's not as good as the Simpsons. By this reasoning, all television shows (other than the Simpsons) are crap. I don't believe that myself.

My personal favorite moment has to be when Peter gets in touch with his feminine side and decides to nurse Stewie. If you haven't seen that episode, try to. And then try to vote Crap. And fail.

EDIT: American Dad = Crap. If it lasts, it might get better. Here's hoping.
Why do you make it so scary to post here.

That has to be the single most frightening thing I've ever seen on television.

I would have agreed with this, until I saw the Penn & Teller episode on circumcision. There was no fucking good reason to show me a bunch of bloody infant junk while I was trying to eat dinner.

family guy is a true work of genius.
the simpsons is wonderful, but this has run its course and was over shadowed and out witted by Futurama....by a country mile.
Southpark is as funny as getting an arrow through your neck and finding a gas bill tied to it....how many times can saying 'Kenny's mum is a bitch' be funny??? maybe once, actually not even once......idiotic shite.

Family Guy - Not crap.......not ever...

I found the 5 minute pilot for American Dad a while back, it was awesome, but then they came out wiht the first episode, and they had changed alot of stuff that turned the show into total crap.

Family Guy is in no way crap. Comparing Family Guy and the Simpsons, well it only counts if you compare Family guy to the first 7 or 8 seasons on the simpsons, 'cause now the Simpsons sucks ass, and still Family Guy, while it has the same family roughly, is nothing like the simpsons at all. Comparing Family Guy to any show on Adult Swim is terrible, seeing as almost every other show on Adult Swim is only 11 minutes per episode, and is nothing like Family Guy.

My personal favorite moment is from the very first episode.

Peter just got sentaced to prison.
"oh no"
"ohhh noo"
"ohh no"
Cool-Aid pitcher jumps through wall
'OHHH YEEEAH!!!"
Don't ever touch my back again.

Most of the show feels like people who like good comedy trying to pay tribute to their favorite jokes without adding anything to the mix. Its edginess does a disservice to the art of controversy.

We've developed a knee jerk acceptance of this type of comedy, but I think time will show that simple absurdity can't stand on its own. Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Adult Swim often suffer from this same problem, I think.

I'm with Intern_8033 on this one. I think this element makes the show almost excruciating to watch. I will admit, I've seen certain gags on Family Guy that have made me burst out laughing. It's definitely had its moments. But as a whole, it's CRAP. Why does anyone need Family Guy when Futurama's out there?

i thought tonight was one of the better episodes i've seen. i watched about 10 minutes of american dad though. didn't see the other one, but this one didn't impress me much.

i will definitely have to take a trip to the beyond section of bed, bath, & beyond sometime soon. it looks like a blast!

btw, where the heck were cleveland, quagmire, and joe? i mean, they even had the greased naked guy, but no neighbors? wtf?
