hi lvp. i had forgotten about my first post here. it now makes sense why rachael and i had some friction. i feel like an idiot. i don't think what i said about homosexuals is offensive but i do think what i said to rachael was completely wrong. not sure if i was, can i blame it on being drunk? sorry again.

My take on blaming it on being drunk: part of being sorry about something is a commitment not to do it again. If you transfer the responsibility from the action itself to being drunk, your commitment has to be to never get drunk again. Maybe I could word this sentiment better, but maybe you get the point.
