I am a bartender. I make drinks. I enable alcoholics and profit from their illness. I have waited on William "The Refridgerator" Perry, who drinks Bud Light.

I influence people to delve into their savings accounts to buy goods and services they don't necessarily need through the persuasive hands of music, artfully crafted copy, stunning visual effects, sultry - yet conniving - voiceovers, protools and endless yards of 35mm film.
Then I go to sleep at night.
Join me. You will join me now.

I wash dogs at a vet clinic, and I write interesting music when I'm not asleep.

If you choose the University of Chicago for PhD you got what you signed up for. If you choose Northwestern or Loyola (I see you're in Chicago), you need to step it up. Chop, chop.
I dropped out of my PhD program at the University of Iowa after three years in Classics (Latin and Greek language and literature) after three years.
Now I am a medical transcriptionist at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, a job I got because I type fast and used to teach Medical Terminology to pre-med students.

I work for one of biggest courier services in the world.
If you send something overseas we will take it apart and look for money/drugs/bombs/etc. If we can't look inside we will send it to East Midlands Airport to be x-rayed.
If, however, you send something domestic (ie. not out of the country) then we are not required to examine it at all. It could be a box full of 50 kg of cocaine and we wouldn't know or care. You could send plastic explosives to the Iranian embassy and it would be happily delivered to them the very next day.
The other day we confiscated a box full of
Khat that was headed to the USA. This is the second in 3 months. It is harmless and totally legal in England. But not in America.
dynamite? Heroin? Small children? Sure, send them anywhere in the UK. Box of old twigs to America? No way, we have standards!

I teach high school English in an urban New Jersey school district (P-town, baby!). It's fun...anyone else hear the "n" word 87 times a day at their job?

I make 'music for use' for spots, web, film, etc. I started my own company and I work mostly in just my underwear (long, these days).
