Has anyone posted Trixter yet? Hair metal goes grunge! Only Jersey would combine sleeveless shadetree mechanic wardrobe with the effete stylings of hair rock.

And I'm not even sure if Jackyl belong in this group of bands, but something tells me this thread wouldn't be complete without the The Lumberjack.

Interesting, but that singer shrieking at the end was annoying. That descending minor riff sounds like something I used in a song once. I wonder if I'll find that stuff again.

Yes, they did a version of "No matter what". In fact that was why I was there--because our manager at the time was Joey Molland of Badfinger, and apparently they were getting him some royalties, so he wanted to say thanks in person.

I think that well dried up pretty quickly. Joey was living in virtual squalor until a few years ago when the estates and he finally settled with Apple, and some royalties were released.

Also, look at guitarist Michael Angelo at the beginning--he can't even play a two-chord riff without showing off.

A sub-Great White outfit who actually predated the hair years (their first album came out in '81 or so), their first and worst career move was naming themselves after cereal. Jerk Tested, Douchebag Approved.

In the first video, butt-ugly vocalist Name Unknown minces around doing his worst Bon Scott, sublimating his homosexual urges into an ode to, presumably, strippers and hookers; the second is your standard-issue power ballad that sounds kind of like that one Julian Lennon song.
