I could be wrong but I don't think a female cannot have a 18/99 strength... you need to consult the Players Handbook for the maximum allowable "exceptionable strength" for a female character.

Depedns on which edition. I think in first, only male humans could get 18/00. Femal humans could get 18/50 or something I think. And dwarves could get 18/99. In Second Edition though, they opened up the doors of mighty strenght to women and demi-humans; everyone could go 18/00.

Ah, and Dark Sun. Ther you could have a half giant with 24 strenght, or a quad-weilding Thri-Kreen ranger. This is a great thread for wallowing in dorkiness.

May the goblins eat your entrails as your slow demise unfolds into the dusk of your role playing, Doritos eating, Mountian Dew sipping, so-called life.

No it's not me. I've actually never played D & D.

But I am starting a Chicago sci-fi/fantasy book club with caix. Anyone interested in that?

I do semi-recall, up at thee past MSOE gig, I heard Mr. Albini as to quip between songs:
"I'm more of a LARP man, myself..."

who said anything about doritos and mountain dew? that's sounds gross. i'm talking about a home-cooked meal with wine and fresh fruit and cheese plates. then toke on a little bud, sit back, relax and enjoy a little fantasy campaign with friends.

If I had the time to get knee deep in something like this I would. It has been a long time. I still have all of my Basic D&D books. I cannot make myself get rid of 'em

Yeah, Doritos give you bad breath. I haven't liked them since I was 13 or so. What about escargot, t-bones, whisky and weed? And a little orc hunting and dragon slaying?
