Wikipedia wrote:"Plastic Paddy" is an often pejorative term to describe non-Irish people who harbour a nostalgic claim of Irishness due to having some degree of Irish heritage. The term is also applied to Irish-themed pubs in countries outside of Ireland — especially if those pubs feature the most stereotypical characteristics of Irish culture, and do not accurately resemble actual pubs in Ireland.

I will gladly brave Paddy O'Splaine's with whoever is game. I fear though, given its total lack of customers, it will soon shape up or close.

Ooo, I can't believe I forgot to mention this. One night I was in there I asked the bartender to make me a cocktail with Amaretto. Sure, he says, how about a Sicilian Kiss? Um... ok... that's a new one...

Most vile thing ever. Even with the stirry straw shoved way back past my tongue I could not drink it. By some advanced alchemy the bartender had managed to combine Disaronno and whiskey and make Robitussin.

"Sicilian Kiss", however, was a brilliantly appropriate name. Not exactly a good thing, right?:

I know, right? Or at least a dive bar with Safe As Milk on the jukebox. Is that too much to ask?

One night a while ago after playing ball down the street at Welles Park, it was time for adult beverages, and the choice was between the hell that is Lincoln Avenue or this 'new' place.

I have to agree with everything negative ever written about this place, and yet at the same time express puzzlement that as bad as it is, it still doesn't come close to approaching an "it's so bad it's good" feel. It's not a local watering hole, it's not a destination spot, it's not a dive, it's not high class...it's the purgatory of bars.

Taco Burrito Express
Taco Burrito Express Jr.
Taco burrito Express #3
Taco Burrito King

Ever notice that of all the taquerias that have both 'taco' and 'burrito' in their name, the 'taco' seems to always come first, even though, alphabetically, 'burrito' should come first?

Well, it's not about alphabetical order.

Say "Taco Burrito" out loud. Now say "Burrito Taco". Which one just plain sounds better?

I admire the fact that it abbreviates to "POS".

Free what?
