There's a new neighborhood bar on the 2500 block of Montrose. I thought I'd mention it because the drinks are pretty cheap right now (ex: $4 Guinness, $2 312), and I feel bad for them because they're getting no business yet. If you claim to be from the neighborhood, they'll give you a free drink.

They have a million TVs, so I'll be watching the NCAA Tournament there all day today and tomorrow.

I don't want to rag on a bar I have never seen, especially a new start-up that isn't doing so well but thats a shocking name for a pub.

Ha - while it was under construction (for the last several years it seems) we would joke that it was going to be the new Lounge Ax.

Possibly the worst bar name ever.

if you're up that far north/west, might as well head over to christina's on kedzie (like 3800 n kedzie? something like that) for $2 guinness pints... that place kept me nicely soused when i first moved up here...

This gets me every time. I can go for a pint in a pub within spitting distance of the fucking Guinness brewery and will pay at least twice that much.

i live next door to this place and have for the last 5 years. it has been under construction since i moved in, and for a while before from what i understand. it is really strange to see it finally open, after all this time. i plan on checking it out...haven't looked inside yet, do they have pool tables?
