I grabbed a handful of cassettes (yes, my car still has a tape player) last night before leaving the house and one of them was Moving Pictures. I haven't listened to this since high school -- 20 years ago.

Rush has always been a guilty pleasure for me. Say what you want -- the negative comments about the band are true as much as the positive ones -- but the bass line in Red Barchetta, or most all the songs on that record, make them not crap to me. For some reason, I can turn my inner music snob off when it comes to this band--at least up through Signals.

I fucking hate this fucking band.
