I only know this song by the Guns n Roses version but isn't the riff essentially just Daytripper by The Beatles?

You might be onto something, but are you sure the Beatles did it first?

by ten years.

Beatles' Yesterday and Today: 1965

Nazareth's Hair of the Dog: 1975

Must I use an emoticon to suggest that I'm joking?

Foghat never had Burt Ward, Boy Wonder, doing their light show.

No. I'd fully expect someone born in the early 50's to have ridiculed my silly spiked dog collar wearing in 1979 ass back in the day. I expect the same courtesy.

Your friend's dad opened for Foghat? That's kind of awesome.

I like the lead in Slowride. The other thing I like about Foghat is the potential their name gives you for anagrams, such as the above mentioned Hogfat.

However, let's try some more:

Actually, all I can think of right now is Hotfag, but I'm sure some other forumers can take the torch and run with it.

Such vitriol towards Foghat.....why? All they wanted was to boogie and for you to boogie with them. Foghat is not crap.

There's a band in Madison called Faghat. I don't know what to think about them. I think they kinda scare me.....but I'm not sure.
