Some people are shy. A much larger percentage of people are incredibly boring. This has been my (limited) experience. I am, I should note, terrified of women and rarely speak to them. So I'm working with a small sample here. Nonetheless.
'Shy' and boring go hand in hand.
What, you think it's exciting and interesting for some dude to stare at the floor in the corner and not talk to anyone? It's not, to anyone. They skip right over you and move on to someone who has a fucking personality.
Shy=Not interesting.
What's interesting about a shy person? The fact they are fucking shy? Like that's rare and cool and fun?
This is a fast paced world and we don't have long on it. Nothing matters. There's no god. We'll all be dead someday. It just goes black. This whole thing is just completly meaningless, it's just floating around doing sahit and talking to people. That's it. Then you die. What is there to be scared of when it comes to conversating with other humans? You are afraid some woman will stab you in the face if you attempt to strike up a conversation with her? I gotta tell ya, that happens
very rarely.
Shy is the opposite of interesting and engaging. People just wanna hit you with chairs or hurl you out the window.
Who would be interested in finding out more about someone like that?
'Hey, I find that dude's lack of personality and ability to socialize just fascinating. He seems to be very uncomfortable and have absolutely nothing to say to anyone without someone dragging it out of him, I find these qualities just draw me in and make me wanna be around him'
Pffft.
