New Holland Night Tripper is one of the best imperial stouts I have ever had.

Two bottles of that on an empty stomach last week at Kuma's enabled me to finish all of my Metallica burger and chips, plus half a dozen forkfuls of the wife's mac & cheese with peas and bacon. Buuurrrrrp!

2 bottles of that on an empty stomach within an hour or so is quite an impressive feat. Those are the little 8-oz bottles, aren't they?

Fullers ESB is where it's at. Possibly my favorite beer in the whole world.

They have just started (I can't bear to consider that it might be just a one-off importation) to sell the stuff here in Qc. I almost cried when I saw the bottles on the shelf.

Buzzsaw Brown Ale. Very tasty. Especially good with spicy food.

Even better is Doryman's Dark Ale. This is my favorite beer right now.

That shit gave me the worst headache ever.
I do enjoy the Burton Baton quite a bit.
Also the Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree.

I bought this for someone in the hopes that he would

a) like it
b) convince me that it will be a good "gateway" beer for me.

Yeah, it's raspberry, but so what?
