Nothing Fugazi ever wrote gives me chills - even to this very day - like "One Evening."

Sure, it's wrapped up in misty watercolor memories for me. Both bands are. Getting the shit beaten out of me at a Fugazi show at Saratoga Winners, having a beer bottle broken over my head at a particularly packed JL show at CBGB...ah, youth!

I remember hearing "One Evening" for the very first time, and hearing it change my life.

I enjoy both of these bands a little too much when all is said and done.

jesus lizard. sneaking into their show at mabel's, april 1994, easter weekend.... front of stage, soaked in sweat and beer, i ended up sleeping on the campus quad that night, didn't make it to my parent's house for easter sunday. one of the best show experiences ever - meant the world to me.

Something similar happened with me. This is why I just can't fathom fugazi winning here.
