so the band I'm in, Geinus recorded a show back on March 31. It came out sounding pretty tight, so we are releasing it this Saturday.

We've posted two (unmastered) songs from our record at the Police Teeth page.

"Tetsuo II: Body Hammer" features backing vocals from forum member Pure L!

"Is That Because Your Adopted?" has lead vocals from forum member. . . me.

Hopefully we'll have this shit out sooner than latter.

my band the Pickpockets. i hate the name, but we can't decide on a better one. our set was recorded for free, and sounds like it. bass isn't bassy, drums are too low in the mix, piano's quiet etc. our guitarist is the son of james mcmurtry so he is all "folk hurrrr" and as a result we aren't that awesome.

I just found a pretty insane live track we recorded at the Fireside in 1999, I can admit now that we were extremely high on LSD, beer and weed brownies for this show. This is how we opened up, later it turned into a big 30 minute wall of feedback as the drugs kicked in harder.
Anyone wanna check it it's the 19th song in my player on this page 'amphetamines like a motherfucker'

It was me on bass and sampler, 2 drummers and a dude playing guitar.
Listen for the crowd noise at the end, there's one dude in there who was REALLY into it cracks me up
