it'd be like liking "onoffon" more than "vs."

what the fuck?

(jus' fuckin' w/ ya. raw power is mighty too.)

...actually, i've found myself listening to "Signals, Calls, and Marches" (CD version with "Max Ernst/Academy Fight Song" single) more than either of those albums as of late.

and yes, Funhouse is a terriffic record. i just listened to it today. objectively speaking, it probably is a better record (i always make the analogy of why i like Big Black's Bulldozer better than Atomizer in cases like this) something about the brashness of Raw Power really tickles me, though.
if i got lasik surgery on one eye, i could wear a monacle.

Hint: their guitarist produced a crappy album by a band for whom Steve produced a really good album. First correct answer wins a hickey.

Are the Stooges capable of writing quality material again?

Well, have you heard Skull Ring? The Stooges' 4 tracks on that record were easily its best. Unfortunately, they were only comparative highs on an album of lows. The main problem is Iggy, who hasn't written a decent lyric since about the twelfth century, and if that is brought into a new Stooges record, well, I hope you like corn.

Unless Iggy finds his muse again, I'd hope the engineer I like least will end up with the job, because that poor sap will have to say he recorded the new Stooges album (and probably share some criticism).

If he finds his muse again, I'll be first in line at the record store on that fateful Tuesday morn.
