Reyes pitched a gem. Verlander stunk. The bottom line is it almost always comes down to pitching and tonight, the Cards were clearly superior.
Hopefully, The Gambler brings his A game tomorrow because I think Weaver (who has been fantastic this postseason) is going to be fired up facing the team that drafted him and sent him packing.

I'm just pointing out the facts. I haven't declared that the Tigers will win, just that if they don't, they will have commited a crash and burn of monumental proportions.
I'm sure a shit ton of you are jizzing your pants to bring up the 2004 ALCS. The Yanks and the Red Sox in 2004 was a much closer matchup than this, by any measure. That is indisputable.
