the Texas Instruments TI994A?

fucking awesome. I think I got a second one after the first one died. I loved the clone games. Munch Man for fucks sake.

I had the voice module (the same that Brainiac used in "This Little Piggy") where you could program speech and some of the games would talk to you. so cool. You could also get donkey kong and all the other standards.

you could also program in Basic, which was fun for making your own crappy games.

this gif is fun, too:

I have "Nerm the Worm" on TI-cassette. Also, I miss my old copy of "hunt the wumpus". Did either of you ever play that? How about "Alpineer"? "Chisolm Trail"? Those little TI home computers were fun.

Nice. I dont think I had chisolm Trail and only saw Hunt the Wumpus in the stores. I had a bunch, though: Parsec, Munch Man, TI Invaders, A-Maze-Ing, Alpiner, Video Chess and Donkey Kong. I think there were only 25 games for it.

so fun.

My cousin had this and actually had the large-as-a-breadbox hard-drive/floppy-drive combo DEVICE. And a modem.

Even with that, all I remember is some Star Trek game that he loved and I hated, and also WONKAPILLAR, which we both liked.
