1) Treason
2) Hips Swinging
3) Entrapment
4) Wonder Beer
5) The Sniper Song
Also - take the Basement Screams reissue, scrap all the extra songs and reissue it again as the original e.p. voila - the perfect e.p.

I do not at all agree with the characterization of
Understand as just an "ok" record. No sir. Would not change a thing.

I really enjoy Excellent Italian Greyhound the way it is. Kitty Pants, Boycott, Elephant, Paco and The End of Radio are my favorites but I dig the whole album start to finish.

Pere Ubu - The Art of Walking EP:
1 Go
2 Misery Goats
3 Rounder
4 Birdies
5 Horses
Those songs are great, and the original album is pretty terrible. Almost all the songs I left out, with one exception, uniformly suck ass. You could probably chuck "Rhapsody In Pink" too if you wanted, that one's only average-to-okay, though I'd consider adding it.

Add "Loop" and you've got a terrific record.
The Art Of Walking is a weird record, the good stuff is so good and the bad stuff so flatulently bad, it is hard to imagine how they ended up on the same record.
"Lost in Art" is still really funny, though.

I considered "Loop" too, but it just feels too directionless for me...and "flatulently bad" is a really good description of "Lost In Art." I also considered, and probably should include, "Not Happy," because that came out around the same time as a single and is very, very good.

Either a lot of you have terrible misconceptions about what constitutes an "ok album", or you're just using this as a chance to trim the fat off some of your favorite records. I think trying to make a Rolling Stones album into an EP would inevitably fail for either of those two reasons.
Anyways, the first two I though of:
Drive Like Jehu - DLJ EP
Caress
Spikes to You
Atom Jack
Good Luck in Jail
Turn It Off
Future Home of Stucco Monstrosity
Outkast - Stankonia EP
Gasoline Dreams
So Fresh, So Clean
Ms. Jackson
