reissue of the yr: Mars Complete Studio Recordings, I already own everything on here and it still blew my mind, the remaster is so good, honestly like hearing it for the first time. the packaging is excellent, overall a prefect release.
otherwise:
Liars record
the Real New Fall Album (US vers)
a bunch of other stuff people have already mentioned
did KA by Excepter come out this yr? cause that's really good...those NNCK releases...oooh the Tight Phantomz ep is really good, the Nick Cave/Bds.Seeds double is way better then it has any right to be...I bought so many records and I liked a lot of them

45I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting some really good ones, but here's a few:
(in no particular order)
Dylan Posa Dumb Terminals EP
Upsilon Acrux Volucris Avis Dirae-Arum
Gorge Trio Open Mouth, O Wisp
Nina Nastasia Dogs (reissue, but I'll include it because I think this is the first time it's widely available)
The New Year The End is Near
The Butchershop Quartet The Rite of Spring
Kroko Rabia
I haven't got the new records from The Flying Luttenbachers, Silkworm or Neurosis yet, but I'm pretty certain that they'd make it to this list as well.

46song of year has gotta be either make believe's "temping as a shaman" or, mayhaps wilco's "at least that's what you said."
that make believe, ep. that's the shit, altogether.

49Wilco - A Ghost is Born was a very good record in my opinion
Great as well but from Germany, so you won´t know them:

It´s such a fine line between stupid and clever.
