I have seen, champion rabbit and chrissummerlin and fantasmagorical thorr play in various bands on a number of occasions, not including times when I played with (or indeed in) summerlin's various acts I've still probably seen his band Reynolds the most, they were good (usually!).. CR's band used to make me sick with their aceness, and FT's band went dead rubbish when she left! Band that I saw the most ever though. Cable from derby.. over 20 times easily they were awesome.. I've seen a bunch of other bands multiple times UK ones, like bilge pump, joeyfat, charlottefield, snowblood, Montana pete, lapsus linguae, broken family band, blood red shoes, I'm being good, the absentee, I've probably all seen more than 5 times each, and US ones (partially due to going to both weekends of shellac's ATP and helping out at shows in London) like shellac, shipping news, oxes (dull after the first time but my friends played with them at a number of different gigs) and the one I always try and get to see when she's playing, Nina Nastasia who i've seen 5 times in the last three years. Always amazing!

I have seen (edit: name of bad NYC band here) 4 times and I hate them. They are terrible! I only go to see the burning hot theremin player Pamelia Kursten who, sadly, plays out with them.
I have seen this band too! Mark is right! They are an awful, awful band of kitschy campy crap with Russian accents. But this theremin lady, she plays the theremin so nice! I don't know about the "hot," but she "smokes" on the theremin.
To be able to see her play the theremin without the bouncy torch-singing Natasha Badanov temptress oom-pa-pa half-assed Kurt Weill nonsense would be pretty great.
For me, I have seen the Jesus Lizard at least 45 times, though some of them were on tour in one capacity or another. I probably saw Naked Raygun a couple dozen times. I probably saw the Didjits a dozen times. I think I saw every Killdozer show within driving distance for about 4 years, but they didn't play that often, so that's probably a dozen. I saw every Urge Overkill show for the first few years, if you can believe that.
[edit]: Silkworm approximately 1200 times.

Every all-ages rock show I've ever attended in the Ohio Valley between 1992 and 1996 featured both Hurl and The Karl Hendricks Trio. Must've seen both of those bands more than a dozen times.

Nope. Awesome every single time. The best band of the 1990s, by a wide margin.

Fugazi and Q and Not U a whole slew of times each, including Q and Not U's first (second? reports vary) show. Same with Dismemberment Plan, except for the first show thing. Not "every show," but a whole, whole lot of them.
I also experienced the sort of compulsive, every-freakin-show-for-their-entire-brief-existence attendance of lots of other fantastic DC bands that no one here would ever recognize or care about. I wont bother to list them.
