Whitehouse 'Cruise'
Borbetomagus 'Snuff Jazz'
The Mothers of Invention 'We're Only in it for the Money'
David Ackles 's/t'
John Cale 'Music For A New Society'
Lisa Germano 'Lullaby for Liquid Pig'
Come 'Eleven:Eleven'

Khanate was also a very good choice, and make no mistake you will absolutely fucking need some Slayer.

Justin from Queens wrote:Shitmat - Full English Breakfast. Nauseating English breakcore. As in the "I drank too much and now the room's spinning and I can't take it" kind of nauseating. The guy has a sense of humor.

Feh. My former tourmate Xanopticon's way better.

The first album Demonstrations In Micronesia is great, the other records haven't done a thing for me

Seconded. This Vaz, this is good new loud.

Obviously Mastodon. Jesu. Wire Read and Burn 01.

Surgery's Nationwide is very good, for when you're winding down but still on edge.

But, I think a course of Killdozer's 12 Point Buck followed by a swift shot of the Scratch Acid Berserker EP.

Repeat.

when i worked as counter clerk at a dry cleaners and was having a shitty day i would put on the birthday party, live 81-82.

i'm not sure if it's angry music or just weird music, but it kept people from lingering.

Definitely angry - what do you call that live cover of "Fun House"? Pure fucking rage...

I forgot to add these guys to the list of music to play when pissed off:

Stick Men With Ray Guns - Some People Deserve To Suffer

This is the nastiest punk rock imaginable. "Grave City" is pure hate. they were a Texas band, Gibby Haynes was a big fan.

Just to buck the trend, when im pissed off, I'd rather listen to something to calm me down. So something chilled.

So:

Marvin Gaye - What's going on?
Leftfield - Leftism
Any Curtis Mayfield

You get the idea.

Yes but you might listen to What's Goin' On but then think, 'THIS is goin' on!', because you know. Then there's just going to be a horrific scene made more horrific by the fact that Marvin Gaye is worrying away behind it.

Einstürzende Neubauten. Any of the first three records. Feel free to rip them
from LimeWire - the band supports it. Sure, the record company wants you
to pay...

...or, if you wanna spend, check out Stratgien Gegen Architek. Great
comp of early stuff. Stahlversion is a high note for me - not just anyone can
play a bridge.
