Brother #1: What do you remember about the Commodore 64?
Brother #2: "Syntax Error, Syntax Error! AbortAbortAbort"
That console did rule though.

Yeah, I had one of those when it was the pinnacle of high tech.
Amazing what passed for handheld entertainment in 1977.

You're thinking of the much superior Neo Geo. The idea was you could save levels in your game at home, and continue in the arcade, or maybe the other way around.
ahhhh, yes -- the neo geo. i downloaded some roms for a neo geo emulator once and they were indeed arcade quality.

i too always failed to grasp the appeal of this.

I hated the Intellivision's graphics, and that controller would have given me blisters if I would have ever played it long enough.

Best video game controller? It looks pretty awesome, but for my wee hands the saturn pad is the best, or maybe an ascii pad/stick.
ps. there are still new games coming out for dreamcast.
I don't play Street Fighter. Only sports games.
The arcade stick is exactly the same as the controls on an actual arcade machine. Exactly the same.
So good.
