Dear BOSS NF-1:You help block out the sound of the universe without the debilitating tonal side effects that I often hear people complain about when talking about noise gates. I can see you sitting at my feet, right behind my tuner, ready to go if I need you, in all situations. I hope you will serve as useful a purpose in band practice as you did in in my hopelessly buzzy living room. I am glad to know your blues lawyer deniers are full of shit, even if you are no replacement for taking those old, finicky amps to the tech every once in a damn while. If you break, I will happily spend another $50 to get another just like you.YoursJ L

Synthmonger PulsemongerWhen it worked, it was one of the coolest fuzz pedals I'd ever heard. Certainly the coolest I've owned. When it worked. And now it's dead.

EH 45000,You are the exact same thing, but with a less retarded memory stick. Your footswitch doesn't have the best functions you offer on it. You are still built like shit. You are too expensive. If it were up to me, you'd be a goner. Crap,Jason

With the gain South of noon, it's not all that metal. It would probably depend on if you are running another boost/distortion/fuzz along with it.That said, it can do metal.

Strymon El Capistan: I am glad I don't smoke pot anymore, because otherwise I might never leave the gear room and see what happens if I keep your virtual tape loop running several years.
