Why you gotta be such an asshole, sphincter?

While changing cd's in my car today, XRT(chicago radio station) was playing a song that I thought was Ocean Colour Scene. So, kind of being surprised that they would play OCS, I kept it on for more than a second. Well of course I soon realized it was America's dad rock band Wilco. Whatever new song they were playing on the radio would have sounded really good had Mick Jagger been singing it circa 1969. Fuck the music was straight off of Let it Bleed. If you like this record go buy 1969's Let It Bleed. It's much better writing. You'll get your acoustic/acoustic country slack numbers and the other half of the album rocks really hard. Unlike anything Wilco has ever written/copied. Fuck this band. Why listen to them when they are playing/copying music that was done so much better in the past!?!!

Wilco suck. At best they're highly overrated. I watched that documentary about them after I saw them play (for free) and got a little curious. It was clear from watching it that they just took a bunch of basic, mediocre songs and fucked with them, added all this noise and bullshit, and were proclaimed geniuses. No wonder their label didn't want it.

I guess a couple tunes are okay, and I remember talking to Jeff Tweedy at the Lounge Ax after a Tupelo show one time- seemed like an okay guy. But what remains a mystery is the constant onslaught of positive do-nothing-wrong press that comes their way pretty much every week. Is there no other game in town? Thank you WXRT & Sound Opinions!

It was well worth chancing all the way to Page 3 for this comment.
Salut John.

Ha!
We've all got to like some shit, we've just got to be able to admit it-to ourselves and to the world.

Wilco had a white man with dreadlocks in the band, apparently of their own free will.

I can't find a picture of it, but a few days ago I saw a guy wearing a Wilco t-shirt that mimicked a beautiful rock t-shirt that you might know:
I saw "WILCO" at the top of the shirt and "JEFF" at the top of the circle.
And I considered
my options.
Surveillance cameras.
Smoking bans.
Rachael Ray's "stardom".
Wilco. Fucking
Wilco.
Seriously.
What's it going to take, milquetoasters?
