yea i really like that song. but i enjoy the first 1/2 of it much more than the fast part towards the end. i really enjoy the beats of tru masta and mathematics, who did a lot of that album. in earlier wu days, tru masta did the beat for method man's "torture," while mathematics did the beat for ghostface's "mighty healthy"... 2 great beats.
But what about
Birth of a Prince? That had some great songs, including "Grits" (oh, wow, there's a
video! I had no idea until just now. Wow, it's awesome!), "
Whistle," and the awesome "Bobby N' I."
And Jesus, why is nobody talking about
8 Diagrams?
funny, i just heard birth of a prince for the first time in a few years yesterday. there's a few really good tracks on there... grits, you'll never know, the whistle, the birth, chi kung, hoto chotan, a day to god is 1000 years...
i really enjoyed 8 diagrams. it's a much more advanced album than forever, with some really well arranged/layered beats (and
great drum programming) and some great verses, especially those from raekwon imo.
