And Dianogah played "Bad Houses" which I enjoyed greatly.

Looking over badcomrade's Shellac list brings back many fond memories. I was at all of these:
Rainbow Roller Rink with Fugazi
Logan Square "PINE TAR 406" show (I still have my autographed baseball)
Fallout Comedy Club night 1
Fallout Comedy Club night 2
Lounge Ax New Year's Eve
Fireside Bowl New Year's Day
Lounge Ax Valentine's day night one
Lounge Ax Valentine's day night two (I still have my $2 bills) (ME TOO, mine is laminated)
Empty Bottle unannounced "special guest" @ last ever KILLDOZER show
Lounge Ax Taste of Lincoln Park stage (which read "Shellag")
Robbie Fulks Birthday
Congress Theater Save Lounge Ax show
Congress Theater with Fugazi (only 1 of the 2 nights)
Centrum Night 1
Centrum Night 2
Martyr's 2nd show of the 4 show weekend
Johnsburg VFW hall

Plus these:
Otto's in Dekalb
Skin Graft thingy at Lounge Ax during the '95 heatwave (where the gracious Mark Fischer was kind enough to sneak a friend and I (both underage at the time) in as "Greeters")

Other bands I've seen a whole slew of times would be: Silkworm, Pegboy, Dis-, Dianogah, and the Jesus Lizard.

These are bands I have been honored to see an assload of times, relative to my geography availablity& each band's natural frequency of playing.

In order of memory

The Jesus Lizard
Melvins
Helmet
TAR
Ween
Hum
Shellac
Shiner
Don Caballero
Tortoise
Silkworm
Killdozer
5ive Style
Poster Children
Soundgarden
Jawbox
Six Finger Satellite
Chavez
Huun Huur Tu
US Maple
Giant Sand
Unwound
Trailer Hitch
Nomeansno
JSBX
Urge Overkill
Gastr del Sol
Rein Sanction
Mule
Flaming Lips

There are four listed at 4x, 68% of total list at 10 or 10+. TJL and Melvins are neck and neck for numero uno at 18ish and 15ish respectively, but only because the Melvins are still playing.

My current favorite bands to see live are The Dials, Bottomless Pit, Bitter Tears, Detholz!, Mastodon, and you.

damn, the memory keeps kicking after I hit submit

Like lots of folks, I've seen TJL, Shellac, Fugazi, Hum and the Poster Children bunches.

Isis maybe 10 times, subtract 3 for touring.

Made out of Babies about 4 times in the past year.

Pelican about 5 or so.

Today is the Day maybe 5. I wouldn't see them again, though.

Boris twice in 3 hours.

Girls VS Boys used to play on all these bills around here, but we learned to show up late.

Helmet! I saw Helmet 1, 2, 3, ... I saw Helmet 5 times.

Zeni Geva 4 times.

Announced last shows -
Discordance Axis.

Unannouced last shows -
GG Allin

I used to book a place where the Drovers played a lot.

= Justin

Edit - fixed 'shop' to 'show'.
