TV Show: Family Guy

While I like "Family Guy" enough when I'm watching it, the episodes aren't as rewatchable as with "The Simpsons" and "South Park".
Not crap, but with a waffle factor for the writing getting pretty lazy, and the format of the jokes never changing.

What the hell? Seriously- what the fuck? Drives me crazy. Family Guy has occasional funny moments, but they aren't worth sitting through the entire show. It's borderline unwatchable.
Yeah, I used to watch Family Guy and I enjoyed it, but then I saw those two episodes of South Park and I just can't enjoy Family Guy anymore. South Park was just so dead on in mocking Family Guy. It makes the show (Family Guy) completely see-through now.

The first three seasons (1999-2001) are excellent. When it was resurrected in 2004 and the movie came out, it seemed to be formulaic.
All good things come to an end. There are some moments of brilliance now and again.
Let me go on record as saying I don't like all animated humor. King of The Hill and Futurama is complete crap. Fuggem.

Total ripp-off of the Simpsons , and not half as good. A good point for the baby who is funny , unlike Maggie who is pointless.

My enjoyment of this show depends on the ratio of real jokes to plain old pop-culture gags. The recent episode where Peter joins the New England Patriots was hilarious, but I stopped watching it for about a year because I got sick of its over-reliance on the Gen-X nostalgia crap that I got out of my system a decade ago.
