They are people from a certain background that like to do stuff they enjoy (drinking with their peers listening to house/techno/whatever, dancing and going home with someone).
They are not hurting anyone or representing any social evil (which was implied by the yuppie bar comment). (Aside from the inadvertent bar fight.)
Nah, big chicks need lovin' too. It is great they have a special place they can call home.
It used to be call Prime -n- Tender (what a great name...) which was the same club for these same patrons 20 years ago.
Then it became a country bar, The Kickin' Corral....nice.....
Now if you mean horrible in terms of general debauchery, I would posit Carols on Leland and Clark (Or Tai's Til 4). Its a 4/5 oclock, so the level of alcohol fuel decision making is much higher.
Yes, I love that place. Country house band too...I dont like that stuff, but something about 3:30 am and that crowd makes it tolerable sometimes....nice....
(For me, it beat's Tai's Techno/House/Rap/Whatever and it's a live band!)
The beauty of a big city....so much to offer!
Cheers,
David

Worst as in most lame, horrible.
As many Lincoln Park yuppie dickhead bars as I could put at the top of my list I gotta say my vote is for a little place called Studio 63 on 63rd and Harlem in Summit, Illinois.
They have a hundred weird rules about how you can dress and whatnot to get in, I guess because that's kind of a gangbanger neighborhood but I remember them giving me shit about my shirt, my shoes, my hat AND my pants...then fucking with me about my ID as well. You'd think the place is packed with secret agents and supermodels from the hassle they give you at the door.
