hey i did the same thing.
once i got into flipper it got me really into vinyl as well.
started collecting and now i have all the singles and "gone fishin'".
have not worked up to buying "generic" for 75 dollars or "public flipper ltd." for about the same but i'm sure the time will come.
i did find a def american version of generic on cd, though.
as much as i wouldn't support def american by buying flipper, i found it used for 5 dollars with a neat little case.
i think the funniest thing they ever did was the 'brainwash' single in its never ending-ness. fantastic.
ted falconi is great to watch live, all the couple minutes he's not playing with his back facing towards you, you're witnessing some crazy finger placement and technique. this is only coming from the recent seattle show i saw though, i'm far too young to have seen anything else.
ahhh i gush too much about these guys.
you can be sure i'd love to bite.
