Coen Bros. films usually get funnier the more I watch them. I wasn't that impressed with Burn After Reading initially but now I love it. Intolerable Cruelty is packaged like a shitty rom-com but it's a scream. I feel the same way, but I like the idea that I've actually heard of someone disliking it because, well, it's never happened before.
I also do like some other Coen films.
But this one has several lengthy scenes that are just excruciating to sit through.
And considering the acting talent in the movie, I can only blame the writing.
This discussion does make me want to watch Raising Arizona, however.

But I hate tomato juice. I love marinara sauce, love pico de gallo, love salsa, love all tomato-based soups, love a nice tomato slice on a burger or sandwich, in general love me some mumaters but that shit makes me gag. I can't even get it down my throat. I'm not a huge fan of vodka either but sometimes booze is booze.
So y'all enjoy those Bloody Marys, they look pretty good. Offer me an olive, I'll be the guy dumping tequila in his morning coffee.
