Abstaining from voting.
You said that The Beatles are crap. Pretty sure they make even more people, than all the bands in this poll combined, happy. Who are you to infringe on their happiness, right?

So I don't follow your logic at all.
Wow, how would you remember that? Great memory! Especially considering I've spent aboot 10 mins total on this forum. i'm no one!
Cause I'm a stalker.

I still wonder if anyone will place a bet in the Tim speech = alcoholic brain damage vs peculiar affect speculation.
No bets here. If he doesn't talk about it in interviews (?), he doesn't want people to know about it.

Never been a big fan of Rancid but I have a soft spot for Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman--Operation Ivy was a gateway band for me, I still listen to them all the time. Matt is a great bassist.

"I'm not driving you to the mall, Stewart! It's why your step dad bought you that skateboard!"
- Stewart's Mom

all these bands suck.

So I heard that The Offspring is full of science PhDs and their big album was some out-of-the-blue independent label hit?

Not sure if that's true and apparently don't care enough to check but I do know that their songs on the Crazy Taxi soundtrack became annoying very quickly. But I'm inclined to feel a little more sympathetic to their annoyingness if it's true they're a bunch of introverted science dorks who got famous by accident.

At least Green Day functions as pop. If any of the other bands chanced on a hook while they were sloshing around in their dishwater music they'd probably put their eye out.

Toss up between Offspring and NOFX, went with Offspring.

I never got the "Green Day were good up until..." argument, but I could probably have one of their albums on in the background and not mind too much. Same with Rancid. I had never heard much Social Distortion until today, but Mommy's Little Monster isn't a bad Agent Orange lite. I don't think the 90s stuff could pass the same test as Rancid or Green Day, but it's not as grating as the Offspring or NOFX.
