Okay, here's some stuff I demoed rapid. Like 3 hours from writing to mixdown rapid. I'm gonna re-record the stuff I like to my 2" as soon as I can get the puck to behave and my master module to stop blowing up chips.

My crap!

www.myspace.com/tomtomp - Tom Tom Petty. We're a 3 piece, um huge bass drum, no pedals.

What about electrons' band, The Missouri Compromise? I think they are great. Are they still a band? Do they ever play shows? Wtf?

ing curtis wrote:ive been lurking here for some time and most every band linked in the sigs here sounds the same. this is neither a bad thing nor is it surprising, given what forum we are in. one noteable one that i liked though had the mp3 name rocket_science.mp3. if this is you, congratulations.

haha... i guess that's
bloarzeyd you're talking about.

i wouldn't say we're the most original band (i listen to my fair share of shellac and slint... hehe) in any way. we just like playing music.

i'm gonna have to take some time and check out all the stuff posted in this thread. the only band i've really heard on here is bearclaw. i like them a lot.

I'll throw these out there...

Here's my last real band...they are doing much better than when I was playing with them, mind you:

Another one, long defunct, noteworthy merely for the bizarre excess of the web page (thanks to our vocalist):

Wow! This thread really blew up overnight. I have lots o' good stuff to occupy myself with this weekend.

TallChris, our bands played together last summer in Chicago. I bought a copy of your cd and it now resides on my ipod where I listen to it on a regular basis. You are a very good bass player and your band writes very good songs.

Myspace is finally letting me listen to songs and I just listened to Push-Pull for the first time.

This has to be my favorite on here so far!

The recording is great and I can only imagine what it would sound like in a better format than Myspace MP3s.

The singing is perfect. Kinda reminds me of Shellac. I bet noone has ever told you that either!

Our drummer would love this.....

Ooooh, I have to plow through the rest of these links tonight...

Hey S.O.S.A.

Are you in Form of Rocket? Or just paying homage?
