I hate to say this, but I'd been looking forward to seeing Lungfish a long time, but when they finally came to London and I saw them, I left halfway through, bored shitless.

That's what happens when you get Capricorns to support you.

Richard Buckner was kinda boring a few times.

Enon - The records are much better.

Guitar Wolf - I blame the venue.

Holly Golightly - Just wasn't good.

Melvins have always been 50/50. Either mindblowing or mindnumbing.

Stereolab - Too much bossanova.

Pixies, but I don't like them anyway. Totally fucking boring. Worse than their albums.

Modest Mouse ("Lonesome Crowded West" tour) - So disappointing.

Wilco. Jesus, they just bored the crap out of me when I saw them on their Yankee Hotel Foxtrot tour. I wasn't expecting to be rocked, but I wasn't counting on being bored shitless either.

Mudhoney. Saw them last year and they sucked some very large balls. Funnily enough Major, Holly Golightly was supporting and she was much better...

No, I never got to see the four piece. I imagine it would be much better.

I've seen them several times as a 3 piece. The last time I saw them was the best so far, but still...something was missing.

Props to the lighting guy etc
Musicianship was awe-inspiring

Despite this, I can't remember feeling as deflated by a gig as I was post-Slint. To me, they did not "bring it"

Exactly what i've thought. It took them a long time to get comfortable as a three-piece apparently, and Toko has finally come out of her shell a bit more onstage. But still, i'm really hoping the rumors are true and that they're adding a fourth.
