I like the show a lot, but the idea was dangerously close to an idea my travel writer friend and I pitched to the Nat'l Geo channel a few years back.

Since neither one of us is as sexilicious as Tony Bourdain, I can see why he got the show and we didn't.

I very rarely get swoony about "celebrities" in general, but whenever I see Bourdain here in New York I get weak in the knees. He kinda has the triumvirate of Things That Make Jodi Go Boom:

1) A wicked/sarcastic sense of humor
2) A "fuck it" sense of adventure
3) Darkly handsome

And the man can fuckin' cook. I have had the opportunity to speak to him twice and both times I was so distracted that I couldn't form a sentence.
