Apparently on the new Dresden Dolls record, there is a song called "Modern Moonlight"
I've only been familar with this phrase via that new shellac song.
Does it have meaning outside these two instances?
Dresden Dolls rip off Shellac?

3I overheard a guy in a bar shout to someone "You don't like BON JOVI? I thought you liked music!"
We named a song 'I Thought You Liked Music'. Said man receives no royalties. I think this is either a coincidence, or they liked that phrase. I do. It's evocative. But whatever.
The key here is that Dresden Dolls are shit.

4The song "Roadrunner" by Jonathan Richman includes the verse: "I'm in love with modern moonlight/ 128 when it's dark outside/ I'm in love with Massachusetts/I'm in love with the radio on." So maybe they copped it from Richman rather than Shellac, though it's still a cheap life either way.

5Yeah. It wasn't reallly a knock on these Dresden Dolls, though I could think of a few reasons to.
Just curious where the phrase came from.
