Anyone have any mechanics or auto repair centers in Chicago that are good to deal with and do honest work? The Bear Claw van blew a starter motor and rather than fixing it myself on the street which I just don't have time for I could use some referrals.
Thanks,
Scott

I went to the Albany Auto Clinic at 3848 w. lawrence per Tim Midgett's recommendation to get our van worked on and they were awesome.
A+++
oh! I just saw that your van may be stranded without the starter, try my buddy Juan. He always does housecalls for me and fixed a dead fuel pump on the street for me a few years back.
Juan used to work at the same school where I taught. He left to become a mechanic full time. Honest and fair, tell 'em Faiz ("fez") sent you.

4I'd recommend Ashland tire for some basic stuff, as well. Sounds like tim's reco is pretty solid though.
