the good shepherd:
reason #475 why i think angelina jolie and matt damon should be dragged out and shot. bobby, what were you thinking?! i spent two and a half hours rolling my eyes and squirming in my seat like a five year old forced to watch Waiting for Godot.

the curse of the golden dragon:
mr. moo needs to lay off the kurosawa and shakespeare. pretty? yes. involving and wonderfully acted? no. it's too bad, i really wanted to like it.

what have you wasted a sawbuck on this last year?
i swear this is the last time i post here.

I could watch Sarah Silverman in a silent movie, but then, I have a sickness. Jesus Is Magic is not a big budget film; I saw lots of crap this year, but listing it wouldn't have fit the thread. The rare big budget movies I saw were mostly good, like Apocalypto and Casino Royale and Departed and V for Vendetta.

The Good Shepard was fucking boring. Left after two hours with another forty minutes to go.

V for Vendetta was okay, but did not live up to the brilliance of Alan Moore.

Apocolypto was one big chase scene. Fuck that.

What was that Spielberg movie about the terrorists, soccer team, and Israeli spies called? That could have been worse, I guess. I'm not really big on violence in movies, though I really enjoyed the Departed.
