I am always looking for any advice regarding booking shows. Ideally we would be setting up a mini east cost tour. How do you do it? Seriously. I have no freakin clue where to start when it comes to booking shows outside of Philly. How do you get the shows to fall in line so your not backtracking insane distances.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How to set up a tour?
2i think it's a matter of calling places and setting up a string of shows a few hours drive from eachother.
the bill is the problem of the establishment.
unless you're taking a band with you. then it's worked out a bit.
or, know bands in the towns you're playing.

3EA-related bands (in sound and quality, I mean) who are interested in setting up a tour through the Binghamton-Ithaca-Syracuse-Rochester-Buffalo area of upstate NY should definitely send me a PM, and I'll see what we can arrange.

Do things like talk to people here and other bands in other cities....you will have way more luck getting shows by talking to bands instead of booking agents at clubs.....I am currently setting up my band's tour and several guys on here have helped me a lot.
For example, if you need a show in Oklahoma, then I can probably hook you up with something....see?! It is that easy....
