helooo ladies and gents!

i currently own a zoom mrs 1608, its great but im wanting to run a rme octamic or focusrite ocopre infront of it. The outs are balanced trs on them but only 4 channels of my 1608 is also balanced.

would i have problems connecting a preamp like these to it or would i have 4 channels of silence?

You mean can you run your balanced outputs into some unbalanced inputs on your Zoom thingy?

Yes, although you'll probably/possibly have to play around with levels if the balanced inputs are designed for mics and the unbalanced for line-level stuff or guitars (HiZ) or what-have-you.
