i was just looking on IMDB, and the new anderson movie is starring natalie portman!??? what the tunnel vision crap is that!?

i still like bottlerocket.

can't watch the others anymore though.

Invented the genre of Quirky. Each movie he makes is more annoying than the previous. At this point, he is Crap.

i do enjoy.

BUT i can see the tediousness you speak of.

not crap for the feel good vibe i get.

I liked Rushmore a lot. And I enjoyed the sincerity of The Squid and the Whale (which is more of a spinoff of the genre). But Wes Anderson is basically devoting his career to eccentric rich people which only goes so far. I think he's so heralded because critics typically come from privileged families and they relate to him more than most audiences do.

Overall, NC. But because of how overrated he is, CRAP.

Exactly. I loved Rushmore and Bottle Rocket, but his last two films have become less and less enjoyable. Maybe his next film will be a financial failure and he'll have to go back to making low budget films with his friends in Texas.

I can honestly say I love everything he's ever done.
In varying degrees, but I loved them all.

And if you haven't seen this Amex ad that he did, you should watch it immediately.

I like all that I've seen, meaning the big ones:

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
The Royal Tenenbaums
Rushmore
Bottle Rocket

In some respects, I am easily entertained when it comes to movies, so factor that in.
