All right guys, time to have some real honesty hear: do you A) pluck your nose hairs (ouch!!!) for longer go away factor, but thicker and stronger when they come back factor, OR do you B) cut them and deal with the curse of constant cutting?

holy fucking shit. no joke, holy fucking shit. i think we might be like, siamese twins connected at the part of the brain that considers nose hairs or something. i shit you not, i was just pulling out a nose hair, and then i looked at it and went "damn, that was a long hair. i wonder what other people do about nose hair. hrm" and hit refresh on the electrical site and there's your message. that's some seriously scary shit.

so thanks for inviting discussion on this, cause i had already decided not to start this thread for fear of being accused of having "cooties" or the like. but yeah, i generally pull them out using my thumbnail and the pad of my index finger, pinching the hair and tugging it out. sometimes, when i'm doing a major cleanup, like last night, i use the pliers on my leatherman tool to grab several hairs at once.

related but unrelated, what about ear hair? leatherman all the way, for me. i was just thinking last night about what a great music video i could make... it'd be a single shot video, of me sitting there on my bed watching TV, pulling out ear hairs with my leatherman. pretty brilliant, eh? i expect it will garner "buzzworthy" status almost immediately.

Hey...no problem. it acutally came up in our staff meeting b/t me and a friend. HE brought it up though. i can't take credit for it.

ear hair...oh, that's a motherfucker. i remember the day clearly. i was 16 years old, at Ross the Boss getting my haircut. the woman trimming my neck ran her clippers down my ears to get the peach fuzz off. i thought, "what the fuck are you doing!!!" i knew from that moment on, the hair would begin to grow. i, at 16, knew that a new life of hairy appendages had just begun. that fuckin' bitch! i've been cutting my fucking ears ever since!!!

i have a shaved head ya see, so i can't be havin' no fuzzy ass, hairy ears. the nose hairs...i cut. the pluck hurts too much and it makes me sneeze.

I have a set of high quality Tweezerman tweezers.

I pluck out nose hairs.

My wife works on the ears a few times per month.

You gotta get one of those nose hair cutter things. If you pluck, you can wind up with really bad inner nostril zits. They're really hard to pop, too, and hurt like a sombitch...
Go with the nose hair trim thing.
They're cheap, and worth it.

if there's one thing i've learned in life, and i'm sure there isn't, it's that i should never listen to redline when it comes to issues of personal hygeine. i get this sense he's one of those weird other-folks-hygeine-control-freak type people. i can't even keep track of how many emails he's sent me that are like "hey tmh, you should stop using prell shampoo", or "doude, you gotta try this new soap". it's just plain creepy.

Right now I'm using Irish Spring Aloe soap, it's very refreshing.

Way to go on the no-nose zitz pluck fest. I miss the pluck.
And it's true, grrls do ear hair best. It's actually quite soothing, in a monkey grooming way, to have your loved one yank your ear hair out.

O/T (?) Hey, I'll be in Washington DC late July, I know I'm going to the spy museum, what other cool non-touristy thangs are there to do?
