Can't remember the book, but someone in a novel I read got one that said, "You will hurt your foot." I've been using that line for years.

I collect them.

Then I use them as titles for photographs.

I like the ones with "Learn Chinese" on them.

i had a bunch stuck in my wallet.

then i lost my wallet.

i didn't lose a fortune, i lost several fortunes, and no cookie ever told me that would happen.

The best one I ever got was a few years ago. It said this exactly:

"You will get new clothes soon."

I had a Chinese takeaway a couple of weeks ago after having knee surgery as I was on crutches and couldn't cook properly. The cookie said:

"The small step you take will ultimately bring you great fortune"

My girlfriend had one that said

"Help. I am locked in a fortune cookie factory"
