Do you plan on having a family later on in life? Or does the thought of that not please you? Elaborate on the reasons for your choice.
Also, a question for any members currently with families of their own: Was it worth it or not? How has life changed for you as a result?

you forgot the option of "haven't decided yet". define a family. Is that a partner and kids or just a partner?

We decided to have one a few years back. He's the coolest little thing since Ampeg SVT amplifiers. He's almost two and I can't wait until he turns into my little helper or a drummer. I am going to need someone to jam with when I'm really old.

I have two kids and a wife. I love family life although I've had to sacrifice some things like some disposable income, free time, time with just my wife, time on my own, etc. But the positives outweigh the negatives. Definitely worth it.

Actually, the opposite is true--there are MANY more negatives. For me, "some disposable income, free time, time with just my wife, time on my own, etc." means just about everything. Take those things away and I would be one depressed, stressed out motherfucker. I can tell that a lot of my friends that went ahead and had kids without really thinking it out now feel trapped and fucked but have to constantly tell themselves and everyone else that "it's all worth it" so they won't snap.

What ever. By the way, you're a fucking idiot.
Did anyone in this thread get preachy about having kids? Nope. So shut your fucking pie hole when talking about what you think I or others feel about having kids.

Cool your jets, I don't think anybody here was...you know...offering to impregnate you.
